ABOUT KATE

 

I'm a free spirited, wild, nature loving creative who loves to have a chance to reflect this in my passion for floral design! 
 

A City and Guilds qualified Florist, my floristry journey started at Bicton college, Devon in 2011. After working in Florists in and around Exeter, I headed to New Zealand where I found two amazing florists to work for overseas during my 3 year stay.

On returning to England I continued my passion for learning high standards of floral design with further courses through the Academy of Floral Art. I enjoyed being involved with events around the country such as Leeds Castle Flower Festival, Malvern RHS show, Rosemoor RHS show and Exeter Chelsea Fringe.

In July 2019 I moved to Cornwall and started a retail Florist premises in Padstow, Cornwall. Based atTrevisker Garden Centre, I had my shop for 3 1/2 years but since January 2023 have decided to focus on the Weddings and Event side of my business, also continuing funeral work and some pop up gift deliveries during busy times for Mothers Day and Christmas time.
